Taking my time with this one because it’s a process, but after two months of following Doman’s methods very loosely—and even lazily—my 18 month old has made the connection that words mean different things. She can read 5 words and even tell them apart when shown multiple words at once and asked to point to a certain word. Not bad! Going to be more strict about it in the new year but so far I am very pleased!
