The writing was confusing me for a bit but I think I have the hang of it now

Logging my progress bc now that I’m going on vacation and not limited to subway reading I’m about to lock in. I have six books on the docket so we’ll see how far I get.

This one is a little hard to follow because there are so many characters. Not good for a casual listen.

That's a very icky way of greeting someone. Like he's just kissing a woman he barely knows as a way of greeting her? Um consent?!?

I thought I was confused when I started. Read a book in between, picked it back up and STILL confused lol. I mean the context is good, but sheesh….

Yallll so good. My brain is doing things, asking good questions. Side-eyeing the right folks. The writing is also in my opinion top notch shit. I could easily jump in on a chapter end a couple chapters later. Not touch the book and still fall right back in. Also this would have been really good on Audio. But the book is definitely eating no crumbs.

It’s taking me a little while to read this book and it’s not that great but I feel that I’m halfway through and I need to finish it
