Firstly, this is $5.99 which I am not a fan of paying (in addition to my KU membership). Secondly, it's got really low steam according to all the reviews, which I am even less a fan of.

BUT... interesting premise, hits some of my fave tropes... chemistry sounds like the book I just read by this author, but I hope it's not a pale second place. It would suck that her debut novel is her best work.

Ina Reads is 99% done

This novel wraps up well on its own with the current epilogue, but the additional 18 pages on Sidney Bell’s patron which weren’t done in time for publication are much more fitting somehow. Even more closure, and not as bittersweet
