Damn, the stakes are high

I'm really struggling with this book. I didn't have an issue with the first one or any of faithful & the fallen but this one is hard. I have no real desire to pick it up, I think after the events in the first book I'm not actually liking or interested in any of the characters. I prefer following more like we did in faithful as it doesn't seem as long until you get to one you like.

My anxietyyyyy. These books feel like a horror novel. I can’t believe I waited so long to start this trilogy.

I knew it… knew they way Balur was being goaded that he was headed for a trap and I knew it was gonna be a pit he fell into

Okay yay! Great chapter. Dream is my favorite POV. Loved the net scene and Cullen saying “hope the bitch drowns “…. Won’t happen but I like his positive thinking

Not feeling the Bleda/Riv thing. Don’t like him with Jin either. Maybe Riv will grow on me but hasn’t so far. Can’t stand Kol, obviously. Really don’t care for any of the Ben-Elim. Really not liking the White-Winged either except Vald and Jost. Hoping to get more excited about this book. Loved the Fallen and Faithful Series. Really liked the first book in this series but just not into this one yet
