As a cornerstone of the permaculture philosophy, this work is incredibly vague. Take page 74: “With the introduction of animals and the increasing leaf fall from canopy trees, a deep, highly-evolved soil ecology can be created in 5-10 years”. I don’t doubt it, but god this is simplistic.
