Status Updates From The Last Motley

I am on chapter 22. I read a chapter or 2 a night and can’t wait to read each night. Seriously love ending each day with this book.

I'm sad to say this, but I may end up DNF'ing this. I'm just ... not a huge fan of Christian "fantasy" novels where the "fantasy" elements are all evil, as seems to be the case in this book. Like, I'm here for the worldbuilding, and I want the worldbuilding to be something I can root for!

I may try the author's sci-fi stuff, though. They might click better with me.

I don't expect to be blown away like I was with my previous kindle read BUT this is a pretty cover so I always come with expectations when they're involved xD

Intriguing story thus far, but I'm not sure that it's what I'm in the mood for.

I kind of like Nagan (snicker)
