reading pre-1999 bell hooks is a completely different experience.

Thought I could get some good insights from a silly little essay book, but instead I’m learning??

I’m about halfway through this book and I can tell that I’ve found a new favorite author. hooks is witty, challenging, and readable. I am already looking at getting her other books! I’m sure this will be a 5 star read and I have another 100~ pages to go.
