Fazendo leitura dinâmica aqui porque tenho mais um whiteboard challenge amanhã e preciso me preparar. Pena que não peguei esse livro uma semana atrás; teria tido mais tempo para praticar.
Deixando registrado aqui que hoje passei pelo meu primeiro Whiteboard Challenge na vida (como entrevistada) e não foi tão ruim quanto eu esperava, mas poderia ter sido muuuito melhor. Tantas coisas eu faria diferente.

Test the candidate’s abilities:
1. Communicating effectively w/ the team
2. Thinking critically & asking good questions
3. Handling feedback & constructive criticism
4. Performing in a high-pressure environment on a new problem that has a looming deadline
5. Being the kind of person the team would like to collaborate with on a day-to-day basis.

What are design exercises about:
1. How does the candidate approach the problem?
2. What is their process?
3. How do they work with the team?

Two Types of Design Exercises:
1. Build a new product
2. Change/Improve an existing product (ex. LinkedIn, Spotify)

Other types of tasks:
1. Conceptual tasks
2. Business metric-oriented tasks

Product designer—Solve business problems with design.

Product thinking: Build the right features for the right people
1. What is the company’s business goals?
2 How the design/product is connected to these goals?
3. Who are their users?
4. What are their needs?
5. How is the design/product success measured?
