Really annoyed each time Amora reaches for her satchel because of how she's explained her magic. I'm forced to assume she has more 'splainin' to do and is saving it for an Epic Moment. Otherwise this is kind of a mess.

No one is arguing with her and she's the one who brought it up after someone merely said "If you want to get to Zudoh, you’re going to need to find yourself a mermaid” and clarified the mermaid would act as a guide. So idk wtf Amora thinks is happening here

At first I didn't like Amora but in ways that seemed to be her character arc set up. Then during the ceremony I really liked her because that scene was awesome and intriguing. But since then my appreciation is waning and this shopping/stealing scene with her also going for a necklace...That was not queenly.

The worldbuilding is pretty good but peoples all dressing in one color and only their allotted color is always so silly to me.
