The more I think about it, the more impressed I am. Not only does it paint an amazing picture of grief and loss, but also it gives voice to many of the thoughts and doubts we harbor.
Inspires empathy and reflection and somehow does it wholesome and gently without shying away from the messiness.
If anything Maddy’s role in death, while good, pales to the portrait that is Eve and Brady’s relationship.

Amazing premise and well executed. There’s lots of great stuff regarding grief and loss and how we process it. It also has really sharp observations on the parent child relationship and captures that awkwardness—those parts are lovely. Less a fan of how Maddy can influence so directly, like it removes agency from the characters.
Also impressive how despite the heavy subject, it’s quite light and humorous.
