Pretty good so far

I’m really enjoying these stories and the little interwoven bits. But there are too many characters and it’s confusing. Some of them don’t have enough personality or events happen to them to trigger my memory of where I read about them before. I’ve found myself rereading earlier chapters to jog my memory.

This book is so amazing.

Hard to follow on audible but love the story.

Third of the way through the book so far and it is good but not going anywhere quickly. Very character driven..as matter of fact that is about all it had been at this point

best book I’ve read in a looong time

We are the memories we don’t remember, which live in us. Which make us feel, sing and dance and pray the way we do, feelings from memories that flare and bloom unexpectedly in our lives like blood through a blanket from a wound made by a bullet fired by a man shooting us in the back for our hair, for our heads, for a bounty or just to get rid of us.

Now this is a good assigned reading

I paused my listening until I could get the book, so now I'm going to catch up in print.

Very interesting and good but so many characters to keep track of their relationships to each other.

Reading for class — really interesting so far, feels like a collection of super short stories/scenes with how it’s set up right now
