A very easy to read book full of fascinating nutrition tips and gross things you never wanted to read.
"Spinach is also rich in folate and betaine, which help regulate homocysteine (high levels of which are associated with heart disease).

The recipes mentioned in the book are stellar. Easy ingredients with moderate prep time. He goes the extra mile to help us readers by sharing his personal favourite dressings for salads, which honestly I loved!
Been 19th day of eating well, and hopefully being clever to revolutionize my gut (pun intended). Do read or use as a cookery book. A good to have, easy to navigate and refreshing take on being healthy.

It takes more than exercising and reducing food intake to lose/maintain weight. Dr Mosley's book introduces another variable - the type of microbiome we have in our gut. These gut bacteria do a host of function. Some gut bacteria (firmicutes) are very good at extracting nutrients from our system (that they create a risk of obesity. Others enhance immunity (bacteroidetes), lowers inflammation (butyrates & akkermansia)

I'm really enjoying this, one of the most extensive looks at the bowel and micro-bacteria in the body I've come across
