because how else could i cheat my reading challenge if not by pretending to have read an indecipherable pseudoscientific text written in a made-up language potentially invented by greedy astrologers in the 15th century as a joke throwing off centuries of cryptanalysts?

Botanical, astrological, if elementary, illustrations. Fantasy should soon morph into the almost HR Giger-like sci-fi plant women that I've seen in articles about this manuscript.

"Currently seeing" would be a more accurate description of what I'm doing with this 'picture book.' You can see it too here: https://brbl-dl.library.yale.edu/pdfg...

I've read more of this book than I managed of 'Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man' despite the fact Joyce wrote in English and not an impenetrable language that has never been translated.

How can there be a percent "done" for an unreadable book? Had to incorporate this into my novel, An Unruly Pawn. I looove the mystery. Am studying the PDF with great wonder.

Obscure manuscript where the language is as bizzare as the illustrations. I am familiar with plants depicted in herbals, but these are something else.
