Still amazing... The story is able to catch me during the first two pages and does not let me go.
If I should not work during weekdays... I would read the whole book during a day or less.

I have only just realized that the 3rd and final book of this trilogy will be realeased in December (?!? W.T.... @#£*)

Quite good. I very much enjoyed it. Good mix of low fantasy and guns. Never dull, with an ending that left me wanting more.

So far, a massive improvement from the first series!

Forgotten most of what happened in the previous trilogy, but hoping to vaguely connect the dots by the end. In the meantime, this new start is promising—I like Michel and Styke so far, and Vlora is a nice repeat.

Very promising. Don't care too much for his postponed descriptive style though. Giving us important details about characters several chapters after they are first introduced. I have to make constant minor mental adjustments, it's annoying. Story and characters are very good so far though.

Another really, really well done novel.

Some more spoilers but this book is very good.
