No tengo el suficiente contenido de Olem y me estoy empezando a enfadar

Ahora que ya he superado las 100 páginas, hago un pequeño balance. En resumen: todo bien.

Hay un salto de calidad en cuanto a la forma de escribir y narrar de McClellan. Ahora tiene todo lo que me faltaba en la primera trilogía: mejor ambientación y construcción de personajes, trama y worldbuilding.

Y, por supuesto, lo mejor está siendo mi otp que son, literalmente, escenas de matrimonio. Gracias por tanto, Brian.

I would die for the Mad Lancers

The past few chapters have me getting the vibe this may be my first 5 star rating for Mr. Brian McClellan. I’m enjoying the twists and turns a ton and if he sticks the landing with a satisfying ending it will be my favorite from him so far.

Took a while to get into this one. Loved the Powder Mage series but it's been a long time.

What the…? How? I thought maybe… but no… WHAT????

No spoilers but pg 208, the end of chapter 22 just made me so much more excited about this book and series than I already was. I loved the powder mage series so much. And to pick this up and have more of this wonderful universe is fantastic. Truly one of my favorite series that I have read in a long time.

So… the end of that chapter proposes a very juicy possibility that I hope happens now… loving this book so far.

I have been enjoying all of the point of view characters so far. Like a lot of the setup too.

Color me intrigued! I’m ready for this sequel series to see how Brian has grown as an author and hopefully to get more lore! Love the cover art too!

The first powder mage trilogy was the most original fantasy trilogy I’ve read in awhile. Looking forward to this next trilogy.

Finde die Welt und die Personen spannend. Aber mich nervt es das jedes Kapitel mit einem Cliffhanger endet und dann die Person gewechselt wird.
(Und ich hab aktuell nicht die nerven für komplexe Politik in Fantasywelten.)
