Okay I take back what I said about the ring. That was precious.

I don’t understand why she can’t just hide the ring somewhere downstairs and then “find” it later. Sure, this is probs going to be used later as some big Charlotte-is-a-thief reveal, but I feel like there’s a better way to bring that about. Charlotte is a smart girl, and she’s over here acting like it’s impossible to get the ring back to Harriet without her noticing.

It’s a great book, I’m loving it so far. I heard a spoiler from someone that, Nikki/Charlotte gets the headline for something in basketball after she makes the team, and that seems interesting.

This is 100% a comfort book
