Status Updates From Critical Hit

DNF. Between the narration and me not liking any of the characters - except maybe the father - I'm not going to put any more time into this one. Kris' jealousy is already too much and her views on bisexuality make me not like her enough to give her a chance.

Hope Kris learns that being bisexual doesn't mean someone is "waffling" between sexualities. That shouldn't be a thing at this point.

Still not digging the narration but interested enough in the story (and the D&D) to keep going. Not sure if it's the author or the narrator's error but it's "Magic: The Gathering not Magic and the Gathering. Deducting one nerd point.

Was looking for D&D books and this came up. It’s short so I’m giving it a shot. The narration sounds like it was recorded in a closet so I’m hoping the story is better than the recording quality.

Whoop to Lacey shutting Kris's biphobia right down! Mixed feels on comparing bisexuality to trans people but ehhhhhh.

That mentality about bisexuals irks me. Like, Lacey isn't "waffling between orientations," she's bisexual, full stop. Mehhhhh to biphobia....
