So within the first 30 pages we have dismantled and desecrated the character of emily kaldwin by having her seem negligent due to her waiting SIX MONTHS after a massacre to obliterate the abbey and the oracular order. Why wait 6 months? it should have been put into action immediately and then the author really buries her and actually himself by admitting that emily had no response to the burning of the sisters. WHAT?
