Status Updates From 2666

Just finished the First Part: ‘The Part About The Critics”. Thoughts: I feel like Amalfitano is playing The Critics. The Critics are absolutely insufferable with their obsession with Benno Von Archimboldi. Amalfitano’s monologue about Latin American Authors is peak, and is definitely akin to Nicholas Cage’s Monologue “They’re not Real People” in the movie Pig. Mundane so far, but seems like a slow burn.
