i keep going from liking this to hating this

Liking the flashes of personality Mori has, and Thaniel’s quiet anxiety over what he has to do. The book started with Clan na Gael but it’s turning out to be quietly magical but also a mystery. Whiplashed.

Only reading this for book club, it’s not really picking up like I had hoped

Struggling to get into this one…

makes me want to own a pocket watch as my source of time management

I shouldn't find it funny that our MC's keep roasting a character called Grace. But she's so annoying, I just can't blame them.

E.g. Her hair was short and it looked like the style they wore in a workhouse. BURN.

So when are the characters going to stop being assholes? Fair warning, if I don't like it by the 50% mark I'm DNF'ing.

I remember disliking Grace so much for being a pedantic, unimaginative, petty little NLOG and the sentiment remains, but I like her place in the story a lot more. I think I’m ready to finally read Pepperharrow.
