I quit. I got sick of how he writes about women. And this is worse coz Reacher’s attraction to this “tiny waisted blonde lawyer who wears oversized sweaters that somehow accentuate her body” started when she was FIFTEEN!! A literal child. And it’s not like he was 16. No. He was TWENTY FOUR. Nope. I’m done. Where’s the “I bailed on this book” button??

The way he writes about women is so gross I might have to give up. “She wore a sweatshirt too large for her small crime but it somehow accentuated her figure” vom. Or writing about a 24yr old man being attracted to a 15yr old CHILD

It’s annoying coz the rest of the story itself is engaging

Typical Reacher… unrealistic but enjoyable.

It’s okay right now.

This one packed a punch until the very end. Finished reading on the beach at PJ Hoffmaster today savoring the sand and water and shade under our beach awning.

Finished Chapter 15 this morning over coffee at VH1. Coming to the end with a huge climax no doubt.

Racing to the finish on this one. It’s been SO good and an intense read. I read on the beach with Alli a bit at the Little Sable Lighthouse on our anniversary yesterday after our MacWoods Dune ride and before bed last night. Happy 31st Anniversary!!

Finished through Chapter 12 relaxing after an extended family dinner at Fuel, while Alli painted and Justin wove his friendship bracelet and Larry ate pizza. Nice evening, pre 31st Anniversary
