Very engaging, fast paced but not rushed. I'm glad I saw the movie trailer, because it encouraged me to check this series out, and I'm just DEVOURING each book so far. They remind me - a little - of the old Spencer novels by Parker. Sorta... Very, VERY good reads!

Hmmm. My dad loves this series, but I've got a feeling I may not. The word "guy" is used fifteen times in 2 and 1/2 pages. I'm not one to care about cheesy crime fiction, but this really bugged me.
