Status Updates From Tripwire (Jack Reacher, #3)

Loving the story, but I do NOT like the different narrator. The book is just good enough that I can overlook the "Not-Reacher" voice. I have read these books out of order, so maybe that is why there seems to be inconsistencies in Reacher"s character in this book. This one has me hooked...

Too many details kills the pace. Childs has some great little lines that conveys so much and then he goes on to mask the story with so much fluff, unnecessary distractions of shopping trips or detailed driving directions, that the pace is needlessly interrupted.

The Jack Reacher series are the best.

So good! The imagery is excellent. I can practically feel myself in every scene. Great series!

I have a lot of books I want to read this year, but I have to manage to squeeze in the rest of these books some how. Ugh. So many books, so little time.

I ended up passing out cold and barely managed to get my bookmark in its spot last night. Whoops.

I'm going to stay up until I fall asleep reading this. I have 4 more books to get finished before February. Gha. Also, not reviewing this one.

This is definitely NOT Wolf Hall! Plot is largely predictable and a Reacher book is probably not the sort I will repeat but diverting nonetheless.

the science of reading: i will power through three 500 page jack reacher books in a fairly short period of time, yet it takes me over six months to finish one A Song of Ice and Fire book.

Jack is a good travel companion on my flights. Like superman and batman all rolled up in a vagrant ex military policeman always trying to stay out of sight but can not stay away from trouble. It seeks him out, and like superman the bad guys never have a chance.

The chapters are so long!!
