There are people out there looking for Reacher, someone already died because he had lied and said that he didn't know a Jack Reacher.

Bailing on this one. Without exaggerating at all, 1/3 of the first 200 pages are descriptions of driving from A to B and house decorations. Is there a secretary who quit her job? Better talk about what her house looks like, and turn-by-turn directions on her drive to work. The romance subplot is forced, and incestuously creepy. Reacher's pectoral muscle is so thick that it stops a bullet. I can't.

This books has so much filler in it, but the mystery is pretty intriguing, so I'll probably stick it out.

Personally one of my favourite JR novels. I found the first couple of chapters slow to suck me in, but blimey when it did wow...a real page turn I was absolutely hooked ;)

after I got over the way he writes about women in this book, I am now actually hooked (excuse the pun) to see where this goes.
