So far, disappointing. This my 3rd book I have read in the series and I am getting turned off by the damsel that appears in every one. Cannot the author spin a tale where there isn't a women to be seduced along the way?

I'm enjoying this one. Not because of Reacher, but Lee Child.

Early Reacher, different Reacher and Child, absolutely dense and strucured plotting and narration.

...not as fast paced as I expected - nothing like the Tom Criuse movie. But I'll persevere....

A second dose of influenza inside 5 weeks isn't helping...

Really enjoying this. Read Reacher booms before and thus us an early one but enjoyable.

Meh. Beginning to get very bored with this one. Not as engaging as the other I've read in this series. May not continue with it.

Life is too short. I've decided not to finis this one but will try another in the series at a later stage.

Party foul numero dos. "'I need to get back to St. Louis, right now. I need to get into that archive again.'" And then, after generating some suspense about Reacher being in STL and not NYC... "He wasn't in St Louis. Why should he be?" Cheap play, Child.

Love Jack...always so exciting

"He knew the back door of the tenement would be unlocked, because that's the point of a back door when you're doing a roaring trade about 150 yards south of Police Plaza. They come in the front, you need to be able to get out the back without fumbling for the key." Party foul, Mr. Child... who uses a key to get OUT of a building? Maybe fumbling with the lock. Maybe.

On to book 3! Planning to read them all in order.
