Status Updates From Accidental Groupie

I'm DNFing this book! The story started out well, but it's ridiculously repetitive to the point I find myself skimming pages and getting bored and frustrated.

OH THANK GOD I'M HALFWAY DONE. There are 4 chapters of a different book stuck on at the end, so the progress bar in my ereading app makes it look like I'm not even halfway there.

This book is way more tolerable if I read the terrible lines aloud for my partner to commiserate with me. That being said, now that we've gotten through the night of the concert, maybe it won't be so unbearable.

Yep, still not really enjoying it. At least the romance has finally kicked in.

So far this book is just..... BAD. There are so many places where the writing is either inconsistent or redundant. I find myself yelling "I know, get to the point!" every time they have an internal monologue. The characters seem really one-dimensional so far: One is "hot and hates band;" the other is "hot and is in the band." I'll finish the book, but I doubt I'll have fun.
