Really solid chapter. Good for a sunday school class
Interesting take on child-obedience in Eph 6 emphasizing the need for salvation. Obv true, but was suprised that they essentially believe Paul is talking to believing children.
Could have done more on "discipline" and "instruction." No discussion on schooling!?

Looks like the move here is actualy to read Block's essay on the family in Ancient Israel (Campbell's book). This chapter has a tone of useful lists of familial responsibilities, though.
"Patricentrism" seem like a code concept, but that wording will never catch on.

Positive teaching in the defining marriage/sex chapter is very clear. This book knows what it's trying to accomplish and avoids straying into territory it's not meant to address. Makes it a great handbook
