Status Updates From Lost and Found (Remnants, #10)

I’ve been very hard on this series during the last few installments. I feel a little more positively about this one. They are well and truly back on Earth now, so there’s a big difference there. Also, multiple characters have been killed off (mostly unceremoniously). I think it’s a GREAT idea to thin this over-stuffed cast. Still not a lot actually *happening*, per se, but the change-up intrigues on its own.

What... This is really... Kind of dull? I'm not attached to the events, I'm not getting a REAL sense of danger despite its existence...

THIS SERIES IS A BLOODBATH

They kinda dropped a bridge on Tamara. And even more than that, nobody really made a big deal out of her death - I barely even registered that she died until ten pages later. This series has never really had the characters dramatically mourn the (frequent) deaths, but this is a whole new level.

I've been told the series starts going downhill right about now. That would be really unfortunate.
