pretty good book. something to come back to for guidance

i really am grateful to the person who gifted me this... i now understand how valuable a gift a book can be

i like that he says that praying isnt enough. you must act out what you pray for. still it is a good habit to guide yourself with prayer.

however i dont like how he adds like marketing in this book rather than just the pure message from the Bible.

pray not only for strength *through* temptation but pray to stay *away* from temptation.

in this chap i felt like he really stretched out the meaning in the original verse. also the spiritual preparation and meditation. i like the idea but i also want to discover and enjoy what the world has to offer. i dont want to limit myself to only a certain type of media

ask God to guide you in your battles that through Him you will not falter

ask Him to lend you a hand. It is okay to depend on Him and ask Him when our own strength and will isn't enough
