The name "Jannifer" is driving me crazy

Well I got what I wanted. I wanted the whole shebang and then some. Crime (holyyyyy), interesting characters (ridiculously interesting characters). I must be out of practice with mystery (this wasn't a mystery, we know who's doing what, but the characters don't) books because at times I wanted to vomit...and yet I kept going and I'm planning on finishing it because...well....maybe I hate myself? I don't know HAH

What the heck am I reading? I think I've taken too long a break from crime mysteries because this is just whoa. It's so screwed up in so many ways. I like reading it anyway, but you know...I realized I shouldn't read it while eating.
