Animal agriculture is the cause of 91% of the Amazon rainforest destruction. Experts estimate that 100 species are lost EVERY DAY. Humans are causing our own demise and honestly it’s karma for destroying so many other species. The only thing in my opinion that will help the earth heal is our own extinction

Ocean sustainability orgs are not reliable as they are founded and funded by fisheries and those who profit from them. Only 10% of all large predator fish remain in the ocean. McDonald’s fillet-o-fish used cod until they were endangered, then hoki until they were also depleted beyond comeback. Fishing is killing our oceans and killing us.

Chopping beaks of baby birds is common practice and their beaks are highly sensitive with more nerve endings than human finger tips. Cows are fed ‘food’ ‘enriched’ by a protein powder made of diseased animals unfit for human consumption which contains feces. Pigs and cattle are castrated w/o anesthetic. And so on.

Over 99% of farmed animals in the us are from factory farms where the waste is so toxic that there have been instances of it getting into rivers and killing hundreds of thousands of fish.
