This chapter had some good things to say about the purpose of embarrassment in the creative process and I enjoyed reading it. The ability to fully commit yourself to something and put so much uncertainty and potential for embarrassment out there draws people into watching it, and that's what creates the intrigue.

I've read so much I feel like I'm neurotypical. This was another solid chapter talking about the double edged sword of stereotypes and cliché's. But it got a lot to say, and I agree with most of it. A minor digression into talking about fascistic art and what it aims to do is also a nice touch. I hope I can keep up this pace honestly.

Talking about how you need to remove yourself from yourself when directing, while also being aware of how vulnerable you are letting yourself and others be. "We create out of fear, not out of a place of comfort and safety"
