i like it! it seems to be less of a love story and instead about self love and new beginnings. the mc amanda’s arc seems to be about making new friends, loving herself, letting others love her and repairing the relationship with her father. i love the way the book is written esp with amanda’s internal monologue

I've seen this labelled as a cute book, but right now, this is just punch after punch reminders of the problem we have as a society of victim blaming rather than facing that maybe the abusers - and society - are the problem.

JK can absolutely go off saying that "trans women don't understand the lived experiences of women who were assigned female at birth". Meredith Russo's book shows very clearly that this is not only trans women's realities too, but so much worse.

kinda a wattpad book, but the transgender pov is interesting, i haven’t seen that in a book yet

This book has been good so far but idk if I can finish it

not sure how accurate of a portrayal this book is but it’s definitely more interesting than your stereotypical cishet version of this story

i am so close to the end! The story has reached such a huge turning point that I would have never imagined. I feel sorry & I empathize for the protagonist.

I am absolutely hooked. I think I sense some foreshadowing in this part about Amanda and Grant’s relationship, I hope it’s not what I think. But, their relationship really seems to be flourishing. Amanda is becoming happy. Grant seems happy.
