I just have to close the book for a moment and calm down because, like, I dunno that Amanda should tell Grant that she is trans cuz I'm scared how he's gonna react. But then again, I think he'll be fine with it. Still, I'm scared for Amanda.

Amanda is such a brave, beautiful person for being herself when being a trans woman can be so dangerous. The idea that she has to fear getting MURDERED by someone for being trans is absolutely horrible. Why can society not learn to just FREAKING ACCEPT PEOPLE FOR WHO THEY ARE!?!

I am trying so hard to pick it up and finish it but I can't. I have bought this book without reading the plot then when I read what it was really about I was like "mh interesting, let's give it a try"
And I have been quite good, I read more than half of the book in two days but then I just stopped & can't force myself to read it

I wanted to read this book for awhile and I'm only a few pages in and I like it! The main character Amanda i feel emotionally connected to! Usually it takes a few chapters to feel like.I can't imagine what she is going thru. This book already feels like it's going to be good but very emotional!!

There's so much importance to this book I can't put in words. It's truly adorable and opens new understandings to the transgender world.

Se em 16 páginas o livro já me deixou com os olhos cheios d'água e um aperto no coração e nas entranhas, o que me espera no resto do livro?

I was skeptical going into this book....it's (unfortunately) been a while since I've read a book with a trans protagonist and the description makes it sound like a typical, canned Trans Teen Story TM. But I'm liking Amanda as a character so far and I have hope that the rest of the story will carry through since the author is an actual trans woman

this is really really good so far I'm so intrigued.
