Hoping to finish this tonight! Audiobook says I have about three hours left, but we’re super sped up. Let’s see :)

I'm liking the book, but the audiobook has the WORST Southern accent I've ever heard. I'm hoping that with the audiobook sped up a lot, I can't tell how bad it actually is.

So far I am loving this book. It’s a very quick read. Amanda is a great character and I really feel for her.

If what I need to happen doesn’t happen in the next two chapters I’m going to start to get antsy.

when her dad said he loves her and wants her to be happy even though he has “old fashioned thinking” you can see him showing that he loves her and wants to open his mind and i can relate to this so much i started crying, i had a very similar thing happen with my dad and he was the hardest for me to tell aaa this book makes me so happy

still pretty slow moving... I’m hoping it picks up soon!

it feels so good to read proper trans representation in this book, being trans myself i can relate to amanda so much, but i am ftm while shes mtf so of course we face different things as every trans person does but im so excited to keep reading this and im loving the audiobook

This book is very cute, even if it's not very realistic.

I already love this book. I love Amanda and the small Tennessee town is right out of my childhood.

One of my bestie gave me this book last Christmas so I think it was about time!

Protag is a fuckin nerd and it makes me cringe but only because I was just like that as a teenager ow

I’m really enjoying this, it’s the first audiobook I’ve been able to get so far into! I kind of have a lot of thoughts since I don’t know page numbers and wasn’t really able to update earlier, but I’ll save it all for the review. Also I want Amanda to tell people but at the same time I don’t! I’m scared for her, I know what it’s like to come out and feel rejected by people you thought cared about you.

I’m listening to the audio book of this, but I still want to read the physical copy

So help me God, I am going to tear Bee limb from limb. She is a disgusting human being for doing what she did, just because she was drunk and got rejected. And even though I could see it coming from a mile off, I still actually yelled in outrage and felt it deep in my (currently bound) chest. FUCK BEE.

I am really hoping things work out for her!!
