I'm in the last stretch. I know what's going to happen now. I'm scared. I don't want to end the good vibes. But I'm going to pull through.

Also, I just caught on that Amanda is actually 19 because she took a year off school. This, paired with her talking about all the surgeries she got done before she moved in with her dad, explains why she isn't afraid to have sex with Grant. Everything makes much sense now.

So far, Amanda and Grant are getting closer but also farther apart. But it’s not too bad. For them, it’s like three steps forward and one step back. They’re still cute and they have normal teen issues. Nothing toxic or annoying.

This book is really convincing me to read more romance books. If they’re all as wholesome and sensible as this one

What can I say? I love a romance. The main character, Amanda, is walking on a tight line with her safety which makes everything so terrifying, but I can’t help but want her to live the life of a normal teenage girl. The interactions between her and Grant are so wholesome. It makes me sick to my stomach knowing what’s to come…

This is really wondeful. Unfortunate the author has DV charges, apparently.

This book feels like a story that was made in the author's head—which fair, it is—but it shouldn't feel like every beat, emotion, and conversation between characters, comes for the sake of an overarching narrative. Also, why did I just found out there are SA and abuse allegations against the author by their ex wife?? Kinda want to dnf now, but I'll push through.

This might be my first rant review...
