So far this book isn't my favorite. I find, Parvin, our main character, to be a little unbearable. She talks about living the remainder of her life to the fullest but spends her time moping around.
Another thing that's bugging me, is how forced the Christian themes feel. I am a devout Catholic so I love to see Christian coded media, but these ideas just feel too forced-almost like they were added as an after thought

Why/how is it even better than I remember it? Everything I remember enjoying about it before I like even more, and the things I didn't like as much originally I appreciate now.

Okay, THOUGHTS. This is really really good!! I love the main character, and relate to her SO FREAKING MUCH.
This is honestly really cool, and I can tell that the Lord wanted me to pick this up because it ties a lot into what he's been teaching me lately, that being that life is short, and we shouldn't live like we have time to waste, nor that we don't have enough time to do anything. Every moment is a gift from God.
