Ross challenges our 3-dimensional view of reality by introducing the idea that existence may involve far more dimensions than we can perceive, and connects this to how we understand and relate to God. He suggests that God’s perceived invisibility isn’t distance, but a limitation of human perception—framing Christ’s ascension and the coming of the Holy Spirit as an expansion, not a loss, of relational access to God.

We turn to Heaven and the new Earth. The current laws of physics will not apply. Dr Ross describes the new Creation and our new status and capabilities. Mind-blowing!

This is the best treatise on the security of the believer that I have ever read!

Freewill and predestination. A pretty good description of how this would work given the extra-dimensionality of Good. 2 possible resolutions are described on pages 171-172. The interplay of our wills, God's will, and Satan's are described graphically. God's ability to operate outside or timeline is also reviewed.

In chapter 11, Ross examines the dimensional capacities of created beings. Specifically, he looks at plants, animals, soulish animals, humans, angels (including cherubim, seraphim, and archangels).

In this chapter, Dr. Ross describes the Trinity using an extra-dimensional model. It's a good illustration but the thing that struck me was when he challenged some of the traditional Trinity models that we often use to explain this often confusing concept. I didn't realize how inadequate they were. His extra-dimensional analogy was intuitive.

God operating in extra time dimensions can explain how he can pay attention to millions of prayers simultaneously.

Psalm 90:4 Good operates in a time realm beyond ours; he can experience time faster or slower than we can (represented in a brilliant chart).

Hebrews 11:3; The cosmos we can detect came from that which lies beyond our ability to detect. He is One who operates in a realm beyond our matter, energy, space, and time.

The discoveries mentioned in the prior chapter led some influential voices in the scientific community to speculate that the mind of God can be found. Heisenberg's uncertainty principle and Godel's incompleteness theorem put the brakes on such presumption. These limits highlight that we are the creatures - not the Creator. However, there is plenty to discover through His inspired Word and His creative work.

Mind-blowing chapter! Very difficult to comprehend. Strings, sub-atomic particles, black holes, and other uber-nerdy topics are discussed. Sentence that (probably) best sums it up: What follows, then, from string theory and from these recent [1999] findings in particle physics and astrophysics, is that God must be operating in a minimum of 11 dimensions of space and time (or their practical equivalent).

No theory of physics has been tested as vigorously as general relativity (a trillionth of a %; 14 decimal places). This space-time theorem posits that there are at least 2 dimensions of time. No wonder He calls Himself the 'I Am,' the 'Alpha & Omega.'
