This one a bit slow to start, but still one of my favs.

All good so far.... and the fighting is about to start!

Started today and already 34% I'm becoming quite a fan of military science fiction which is amazing as I'm generally not a fan of the movies or television series military stuff. (Except for Star Wars and Star Trek) really not into the blow it up stuff but I love reading about it! Strange,

I've been hooked on the Frontlines series from the very beginning, even before I found out that the series would be about an alien invasion (I picked up the first book without reading any reviews or summaries). The writing and the narration have both been excellent, and made this one of my favorite sci-fi book series so far.

I feel like we hear the other side of this story pretty often-- the few survivors who leave earth behind. I like that here we're the pissed off left-behind.

Having fun diving back into this world. The second person narrative is still a little jarring sometimes but you get used to it. Also it's a relief to be going through something so quickly after reading half the outlander series.
