She has made a fool of me before the eyes of the world, yet if the truth be known, I cannot imagine life without her. I could never live knowing that another man might somehow calm the storms of her fiery spirit.
I would rather have her dead than alive, knowing that she may someday take another man to her bed.
Whether she tells the truth or not, she has not produced the heir needed to secure the dynasty.

Should the test of suffering bring about my soul’s growth and transformation, then so be it. What is required is patience, endurance, faith, and, above all, the effort to learn from my own experiences. I wish to sing with the angels, thus I cannot escape their call to transform. To save my soul and ensure the royalty of my daughter, I must be every inch an anointed Queen of England today.

Some of these "letters for the Royal Record" are interesting but some have my eyes glazing over.
Important to the story-line perhaps but slowing the story down for me

She whispered, “It will come unexpected. It will come from behind you. It will hit you so quickly, you will never see it coming. You will not even know that you have been struck from behind.”
“What does it mean?” I ask.
“I do not know, Queen Anne, but you are to be told these words,” she said.
With that, I tried to pay her, but she would take nothing. Shuddering, I now wondered if she had foreseen today.
