Enough with lashing out at people and friends and family who are doing nothing but protecting you and defending you and keeping you safe and only want what’s best for you!! Daniel really irritates me right now!!

// By the way I adore that they are all together and they better not sell their house, ever, it’s a wonderful home and they can just lock it up tight because it is protected!!

// Alrighty then 😬!! Also I adore that Daniel is needy and just wanted Jordan to spell it out for him; it’s adorable!

// When it comes to safety, health, well-being, security, life … There is no such thing as being told what to do … You do everything in your power to look after yourself and if that means listening to others because they know what’s best for you, then you fucking listen to them! It’s not about being told what to do it’s about not being fucking stubborn and cooperating and keeping yourself alive!!

// Daniel you’re not doing anybody any fucking favors, it’s your safety and well-being that everyone is taking great care and going to great lengths to protect and defend!!

I know he means absolutely no harm but it irritates me that when someone asks Daniel about him being a seer he kind of bristles but doesn’t think about how he’s also asking questions that can be quite personal to others around him!! Daniel is a sweetheart and he means absolutely no ill will but again he needs to really lose the chip on his shoulder that has anything to do with his transition of being an altered!!

// I want Daniel to lose the chip on his shoulder COMPLETELY!!!! It has ZERO to do with anyone in their circle, but still, LOSE IT, DANIEL!!!!!!!!

// Don’t be so damn defensive and stubborn … He wasn’t ever telling you what to do and he definitely wasn’t ordering you around, he was telling you that you need to be careful and think about your own safety and the consequences of what might happen to you, and on how that can affect those around you who you care about and love! Everything that happens to you happens to those who care about you as well!!!

// Just except and be grateful and thankful and appreciative of the protectiveness they all have toward you, because not everybody has that joy and luxury!

// Can understand generally speaking but Daniel needs to be way less stubborn and needs to think about the repercussions and the domino effect everything has on what happens to all of them, and how it can impact everybody in their amazing little family!!

I get it, I do, Daniel wants a little control in his life when he feels he has none, but in this particular instance, he deserves a good slapping because he doesn’t always FULLY understand why those who love him are so incredibly protective of him!! I mean he does and he’s incredibly grateful, thankful and appreciative, but sometimes he’s a bit slower about fully understanding how protective they really feel!!!

// This other should’ve invested a little more time in formatting this book a bit better! Different scenes do require a space separating one scene from the other, otherwise it’s a bit jarring!!

// Okay Keira is entirely redeeming herself it seems :-D!!!!

// The word Altered should be fucking capitalized and it pisses me off that the author hasn’t done that! We’re not talking about altering a kitchen here, we’re talking about a species and or genus of people and it must and should be entirely and completely capitalized throughout the whole book!!

// Okay so I’m feeling massive hostility where Keira is concerned! She better not be the massively raging cunt that she appears to be!!

I was just going to see if this book held my interest. Yes, yes it did. Almost to the halfway point!
