I was hoping the authors would leave this section highly suggestive. However, Asylum section chapter 7 opens with shock-value graphic details to set the tone for effect – the vehement atrocities, horrors, Kris [The Alecto fury type] is compelled to irradiate within her means.

I skipped the 1st half and continued. Still find it an intriguing story overall.
