There no way I won't compare this to Heated Rivalry since that book got me interested in sports romance. I will say the characters are vastly different. The frustrates of wanting to be a caregiver or to be with someone you care for, achingly familiar. Red is pulled in so many ways by his desires it hurts.

Not into sports at all, lol, but the descriptions of practices and games are detailed enough to imagine. Great story!
