can't really write any more sequels when one of your main characters is dead. but you know what we CAN write?? prequels!!! 😁

It is not bad. But nowhere on the level of the other novels with Renton, Sick Boy, Spud and Begbie. Hope it improves.

Beginning to get under my skin ever so slightly but still really enjoying.

It's pretty good so far. But I am not enamored by this.

I feel a rewatch of Trainspotting coming on

I forgot the very specific - laugh and then immediately regret it - sense of humour that Irvine Welsh has, I love it. I think there’s an absurdity and tragicomic quality to Welsh’s writing that is quite unique.

Excited to read the rest of this and re-listen to the Men In Love album (actually quite good and not just a marketing gimmick as it turns out).
