So far the book is about d'Abreau daughter in law died delivering the last of them which is twins. What else its also about is her saying she was born into a sea and then spent the day in aunt lemons.

The Cove reminds me of Veronica Mars-ville that I forgot the name of aaand so does the Kane family.. Buuut I like this

This is NA, not YA.

It's pathetic when the protagonist turns into the clichéd girl who fell for the player... And it's annoying when, for no good reason, the player fuckboy changes his ways just for her. Massive Eyeroll.

This is a lot more complex than the usual YA plot.

This ultra level of fuckboy is plain old disturbing. He's like a petri-dish of STDs.

So far, I don't like Christian. And when you don't like the male romantic lead in a YA Romance, it makes for a pretty painful read. 😐

This is a full-on, complicated small-town/family saga. Nothing in the blurb had prepared me for that aspect of the story.
