Very bad world-building in this book. And no one bothers to ask any questions to help the reader figure it out. So annoying.

The whole thing with Austin is dumb lol. Like make that story make sense.

Okay I think that weird guy who punched Sam is a ghoul maybe and is feeding from him/stealing his mind and memories.
Along with Sam’s dad and maybe the brother when he lived with them, as well.

I don’t understand what’s happening. Sam is clearly losing time and memories but it’s so annoyingly disorienting and Sam is just letting it happen. Very frustrating.
