These characters are so genuine and REAL. God, I love it.
I’m also very pleasantly surprised by the why choose direction. Very excited to see this blossom.
This book covers trauma, politics, discrimination, privilege in a way that is very real. Some parts are goddamn heartbreaking. Very, very well written. A lot of show, less telling.
I do feel like I already know the twist tho. But I’m here for the journey.

Loving it so much so far! The characters are all so believable, likable, and endearing. They are multi-faceted and intriguing. I can’t wait to see where this story will go. Thought it was gonna end several chapters ago but looks like I’m only halfway through. I’ve only had one moment of feeling annoyed at a character’s decision so far, which is crazy to me. I hate feeling annoyed at characters. So far, 10/10.
