the movie version of this book traumatized me as a kid…now the book is traumatizing me as an adult

This book is so fucking weird.

This book is so random.

Noticed differences between this piece of gay literature from the ‘90s and the types of gay literature being produced today, like Heated Rivalry. Both contain sex scenes, but in today’s literature every scene is significantly more explicit. Half the time, I didn’t even realize it was happening in this book because the vocabulary wasn’t as profane as much of the vocabulary in today’s queer literature Is.

This is the first time I put the book down.
