But after the initial reaction, I reminded myself I thought similar thoughts when I first started reading Daisy Jones and the Six and I ended up loving that book.

This novel is written as a series of emails. When I first started the book and noticed this, I was a little bit…how do I explain? A bit disheartened. I was worried I would find it difficult to settle into the story, get to know the characters well etc. Even the look of the pages, written like emails made me think ‘this looks like work, not reading for enjoyment).

at the start i was concerned cos this girl is not a good representation, but i kinda get where jem's coming from at this point in the book, she's just trying to get her master's and only wants things to be fair

also alyson keeps messaging so maybe she isn't missing...or dead?

Jem might be annoying but i lowkey think she's onto smth...supposedly jem thinks alyson hasn't been coming in but everyone else keeps saying that they've seen her...i feel like alyson might be dead and everyone else is covering it up

This Jem istg....she's literally instigating and causing beef, and CONTINUALLY airing ppl's business that has nothing to do with you

also im sensing smth between cameron and gela, cos why the constant kiss kiss

anyways back to jem, is she doing this on purpose? like not booking enough beds for the group with the justification of budget?
