Many twists and turns in the plot.

It’s been fitting together fine for the most part. But the last half dozen or so pages has been uncharacteristically implausible. A bad guy happens to be right on their tail several states away even tho he shouldn’t know he needs to follow them. Then they have a fight that’s a bit matrix-like about 4 different times.

I think this is another one I’ve read before. Guess that’s why I need to use Goodreads.

It’s still hard to read and follow. But it’s also intriguing enough to keep reading (because I don’t remember how it goes).

It is slow reading. The story incorporates Japanese culture with multiple intrigues, making it rather complex.

The hook is very impressive It got me fully invested.
